Our polyurethane, polyester and melamine foams are specially formulated to absorb incidental airborne noise and noise from speech. Production of the cellular structure is controlled to ensure the optimal ratio of open and closed cells for maximum performance.
CONASORB-F is a flexible polyester polyurethane foam. It is specially formulated to absorb airborne and random incidence noise with minimum weight. Production of the cellular structure is controlled to ensure the optimal ratio of open and closed cells for maximum performance. CONASORB-F reduces airborne sound energy in the frequency ranges found in most environments.
The BV-14C sound barrier is composed of: a perforated vinyl facing with contamination resistance, one inch of acoustic polyurethane foam for sound absorption, a 0.25-inch barrier (1 lb. per square foot) for transmission loss and a polyurethane foam decoupler layer.
MLV-5 is a thin (0.25-inch) noise barrier available in a 1 lb. per square foot weight. This mass loaded vinyl barrier can be applied alone or with other acoustic products on flooring and walls where high transmission loss is required.
PLEXICAST is derived from traditional plexiglass. This heavier derivative is often used as a transparent sound barrier in recording studios. This product is available in sheets of various sizes, with thicknesses from 0.5 to 1 inch. Sizes are available up to 5 × 8 feet (60 × 96 inches).
PLEXICAST is used as a sound barrier either alone or in front of an existing window in urban settings and factories.
